Service was fine. Car was ready and picked up Wed, May 21. Thursday, May 22 I received a text purporting to be from Jack at Thomas Chevy saying they still had my car (not true) and discussing payment. I asked what was going on. The reply I received said: "Sorry Don, I am not sure what you are referring to. It could be some sort of survey or something" I don't trust the "feel" of this thread and have not responded further as of this writing. Something like this has never happened before with Thomas Chevrolet. I have screenshots of the text thread as of May 22 if Chevrolet wishes to review it.

Scheduling is easy with Colleen. She's always able to accommodate me with the times and days that I need. Joanna is there to pleasantly greet you as you walk in and knows. And Jack always seems to be able to have my car done in the shortest time! Whenever there are any additional things that need to be done, he always asks before having any work done about cost. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. And I usually walk through the showroom, when I always bump into Jeff or Mark, who tell me about any specials or new cars they have. Upon arriving home after a scheduled oil change, I noticed that my oil filter was never changed. Went back to the dealer to question why this was not done. Service advisor questioned oil technician who stated that he changed the oil and filter. When I told him that I mark my filters and showed him that it was still on the vehicle, he continued to tell us that he changed the filter and that we could check the parts inventory that he got a filter for my vehicle. I informed the service advisor that I would be contacting the service manager on the following business day. Spoke to service manager and he asked me to return to the dealership to have them change filter and oil a second time. Was also told that I would be refunded the total amount of the service for my inconvenience but have not seen that refund at time of this survey.

The inspection and oil change were fine. I had reported a grinding noise under the car on the left front and a squeal going on for about a week or two and it really got worse today I drove there sounded like my wheel is going to fall off. Come to find out the lug nuts had come loose on the left front tire. I only get my car serviced at Thomas Chevrolet so the last time they did a tire rotation and oil change. Apparently they didn't tighten the lug nuts. I was not happy to hear this but thankful there was no serious damage. Jack told me they could tighten the lug nuts I was concerned the bolts had been chewed up but he says they weren't. I told him I was taking my family down to Florida in a couple of weeks and I would be driving at high speed he says don't be concerned. I'm also taking my Silverado 2017 and on Monday. The battery died and I had to get AAA to come out they said the battery was dead and it was only a year old and I had it put in by Thomas Chevrolet last year 2024. I told Jack about this and he says well there's nothing we can do because I should have had the car truck towed to them. Again I wasn't happy to hear this. I think the problem on Monday is putting in a new battery the computer has to be reset as my cruise control is not working and I get stabilizer off warning when I start the truck. He says that can't be related. All these things add up. I've only used Thomas Chevrolet since I bought the vehicles new. Couple years ago the silver the Suburban broke down in Florida with my wife and her sisters and the transmission had went out. They had to have it towed to the nearest transmission shop $3,000 worth of work. I told Thomas Chevrolet about this and they said nothing they could do because it should have been taken to a Chevy dealer. Again all these things add up and they should have been able to do something. It makes you wonder if you shouldn't be taking your vehicle to someone else.

I went to the dealership with an inoperable charger for my Bolt with the understanding that I was covered under a 3 year basic warranty. Irene disclosed there would be a 180 diagnostic fee if the replacement was found to not be covered under warranty. After diagnostic was complete, she informed me that I am out of my basic warranty due to milage being slightly over and now am responsible for the diagnostic fee. She could have informed me that my mileage puts me outside of the warranty window prior to check in but she did not. She also lied to the manager and said I was informed I was over miles before the diagnostic. This is just poor customer service. I understand a diagnostic fee but at least make an effort to let your customer know that there is no chance the warranty will apply. You scan my car before hand so I know you have my mileage. I'm switching my service center due to this and will not be returning to the dealership for future car purchases. I'm going to over look the $5 shop fee which was not disclosed.

Power steering issue was not fixed. That is one of the main problems and the reason why I brought it in. When I drove the truck about an hour after I left, the power steering stopped working while I was on the highway. I was told that they can’t reschedule me for an entire week. I will take it elsewhere since this is a driving hazard that wasn’t properly addressed.

work was missed, performed 160000 mile multipoint check, after tire transfer (really don't rotate tires in a 6 wheel truck), picked truck up on a Friday afternoon, Front tires were left unbalanced, causing great difficulty ti driving between 40 - 50 mph. earliest shop could bring truck back was Friday a full week later.

It was probably the worst experience I ever had at a dealership. I had to send my daughter away to school in a car, making noise because the dealership said they could not check the noise because it happens at around 55 miles an hour. They said there was no place to get the car up to that speed. I guess she is supposed to drive 50 miles an hour to school.

I had a very frustrating experience at Thomas Chevrolet. My car was towed to the shop because it would not stop. Upon arrival the service staff seemed annoyed that we asked where the tow truck should leave the car. My car was scheduled for an 8 am service appointment the following morning. I had to reach out to the service center around 4pm that day to get an update on my car. I was told that they were still diagnosing the problem and were performing tests. The service center representative could not share any of the specific tests or steps that were taken to see what was wrong with my car. This made me feel as though my car had sat all day, despite an 8 am appointment. About 45 minutes after my call, I was informed that my car would need a new starter. The new starter was installed the following morning. When I arrived to pick up my car that afternoon, the check engine light came on when I started the car. I alerted Daryll, the service rep I was working with. He had a mechanic look at it and it was determined that my engine cooling fan was not working properly. This was not something that was an issue prior to me bringing my car in. At no point did the service department offer to keep the car in order to get a better look. I was told that I would need to make another appointment and sent home with a car that still had an issue. I made another appointment and learned that the issue was caused due to a fuse that blew during the installation of the starter. While I apprise that I was not charged for the repair, I find the overall customer experience with the service center at Thomas Chevrolet to be extremely lacking.

I would never have my impala serviced anywhere else. I do have observations. 1. I use the drop off method with a 7:30:AM appointment. Once my car was ready before noon. But usually like this last time it’s not ready until 4:30:PM. So the only way to get in and out for an oil change and tire rotation is to wait with the car. Even with an appointment. That should be communicated to the customer. 2. There was a obvious greasy hand or palm print on the passenger side that I cleaned off my white leather seat when I got home. Shaking my head:0(

Had an appointment for 8:30am (for an oil change). Upon my arrival I made Nick aware that I needed to be at work by 10am. He said that he could not guarantee it because they were short on mechanics. Asked for a shuttle ride to work…got to work via the shuttle (forgot the gentleman’s name but he was great). Received a “text” that my car was ready. I called several times to request a ride from work to pick my car up….the dealership never called me back (over a 3 hour time span). Had to get a co-worker to bring me to the dealership. Upon my arrival to the dealership, Nick was sitting at the desk, looking through his phone, as the sticky with my contact info was on the desk beside him….
